Applications on prescribed proforma are invited for the following posts:
1) Scientist ‘C’
Number of Vacancies : 02 Posts; 01-OBC, 01- UR on Deputation failing which by Direct Recruitment.
Pay Band; `15600-39100+6600 as Grade Pay plus allowances as per Central Government Rules.
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Natural/Agricultural Science / Bachelors degree in Engineering / Technology/ Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent.
Experience: Three year’s experience in planning, formulation and execution of various S&T programmes, including those aimed at popularization of science.
Age Limit: i) 38 years for OBC; ii) 35 years for UR (05 years relaxation for Physically Handicapped candidates over & above the age prescribed for OBC/UR).
2) Scientist ‘B’
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post; Reserved for OBC on Deputation failing which by Direct Recruitment.
Pay Band; `15600-39100+5400 as Grade Pay plus allowances as per Central Government Rules. Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Natural/Agricultural Science / Bachelors degree in Engineering / Technology/ Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent.
Age Limit: 33 years.
3) Accounts Assistant
Number of Vacancies : 01 post Direct recruitment or on deputation.
Pay Band ` 9300-34800+4200 as Grade Pay plus allowances as per Central Government Rules.
Qualifications : (i) A degree in Commerce from a recognized university, or equivalent (ii) 04 years of experience in finance and accounts, budget, annual accounts, handling of cash, rules and regulations for accounting stores and purchase in central government/autonomous bodies /PSUs.
Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxable for Government Servants and employees of autonomous institutions/recognized universities/PSUs upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions/orders issued by the central government)
4) Assistant Grade-I
Number of Vacancies : 02 Posts Direct recruitment or on Deputation. Pay Band; `9300-34800+4200 as Grade Pay plus allowances as per Central Government Rules.
Qualifications : i) A degree from a recognized university, or equivalent ii) 05 years experience in administration and establishment/accounts/purchase and stores. iii) Experience in noting / drafting and typing. iv) Working knowledge of MS Office.
Age Limit: 30 years (Relaxable for Government Servants and employees of autonomous institutions / recognized universities/ PSUs upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions / orders issued by the central government)
5) Junior Hindi Translator/Hindi Assistant
Number of Vacancies : 01 Post Direct recruitment.
Pay Band; `9300-34800+4200 as Grade Pay plus allowances as per Central Government Rules.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level.
How to Apply :
Applications in the prescribed format should reach the Registrar, Vigyan Prasar, A-50, Institutional Area, Sector – 62, Noida 201 307, within a period of one month from the date of publication of this advertisement.
The last date in respect of applications received only (by post) from candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep or abroad, would be 45 days from the date of publication of advertisement. The qualifications / reservation and experience claimed must be backed by authenticated documentary proof duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. Each application should be signed by the candidate with the date. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed in bold letter as "Application for the post of …..” and also indicate whether applying for “Deputation / Direct Recruitment”. Age limit is to be reckoned from the date of the advertisement. The candidates claiming reservation must enclose caste certificate / disability certificate, as the case may be, in the prescribed proforma issued by the competent authority to issue such certificates. The same may include exclusion from Creamy Layer in the case of OBC candidates. Applications will be screened and only deserving candidates would be called for test/interview. Merely fulfilling the minimum qualifications will not entitle a candidate to be called for test/interview. Incomplete or unsigned applications, lacking information asked for, are liable to be rejected summarily. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. Outstation SC/ST/PH candidates called for interview would be reimbursed single II class rail-fare by the shortest route on production of ticket/railway receipt.
