South East Central Railway invites applications of 1010 Group ‘D’ Vacant Posts [Last Date : 29.11.2010]

South East Central Railway invites applications for Recruitment 2010 of 1010 Group ‘D’ vacant posts against Ex-Servicemen Quota in Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1800. Posts are given below:

• Trackman/Gangman in Engineering Department (800 Posts)
• Khalasi in Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom Department (179 Posts)
• Peon/Store Khalasi in Stores/other departments (31 Posts)

Eligibility Criteria:-

• Ex-Serviceman who have retired after putting in 15 years of service and have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent are eligible to apply.

Age as on 01.01.2011:-

• 1. For UR candidates : 30 years + extent of military service + 3 years
• 2. For SC/ST candidates : 35 years + extent of military service + 3 years
• 3. For OBC candidates : 33 years + extent of military service + 3 years

Exam Fee:- 

• There is no examination fee.

Mode of selection:-

• The names of eligible candidates will be arranged in the order of merit on the basis of total length of military service and ex-Servicemen to the extent of vacancies will be called for verification of original documents. After verification of document a final panel will be prepared from this list. There will be no written examination/interview or Physical Efficiency Test.

Whom to apply:-

• The filled-in applications along with the required documents should be addressed to: “Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, GM’s Annex Building, South East Central Railway, Bilaspur - 495004 (Chhattisgarh)”. The application should be sent by post so as to reach this office before the closing date and time mentioned above or should be dropped in the box provided at the Railway Recruitment Cell/HQ/Bilaspur before closing date (Up to 18.00 hrs of 29.11.2010).

• The envelope containing the application should be super-scribed on top – “Employment Notice No. P/SECR/RRC/ESM/01/2010, Recruitment in Group-D against Ex-Servicemen Quota”. Applications received after the closing time and date will not be considered.

Special Recruitment Drive for PWD and SC/ST/OBC candidates

Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligibile Indian Nationals for filling up of various  jobs in different  Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and Zonal Railways  and other Railway organisation. Application should be sent directly to the respective RRBs / Zonal Ofifces :
Part-I : for PWD only

• Technician Gr.II  : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400
• Technician Gr.III  : 482 posts in various trades, Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.1900

Part-II : for SC/ST/OBC only

• Technician Gr.III  : 675 posts in various trades, Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.1900

Age : 

• 18-30 years. Relaxation in age as per rules.

Application Fee : 

• Rs.40/- for the OBC candidates only in the form of IPO / DD in favour of Assistant Secretary/Secretary/ Member Secretary/ Chairman of  concerned RRB where candidate wants to apply.

How to Apply : 

• Application in the prescribed format should be send to the Assistant Secretary/ Member Secretary of the concerned RRB where candidate want to apply on or before 29/11/2010. (For candidates of far-flung areas, the last date is 14/12/2010) Candidates can also apply online at respective RRB websites.
