Recruitment of Probationary Officers

• No. of Vacancies: 850 posts
• Pay: 14500-25700,
• Age: 21 – 30 years as on 1st July, 2010

Educational Qualification: 

Graduation in any discipline (Second Class with 55% aggregate marks / equivalent CGPA)

1. All Educational qualifications, Graduation/ Post Graduation etc. shall be from a University recognized by Government Of India. Technical qualification (BE, B Tech, MBA etc.) shall be from an institution accredited by AICTE/ UGC recognition required wherever applicable.
2. Candidates must possess the qualification as on 01.10.2010.
3. The candidates should have proficiency in appropriate computer skills / working knowledge of application packages used in office automation/ computer environment. 
4. In respect of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, relaxation in minimum mark for educational qualification will be allowed upto 5% wherever minimum qualifying marks are stipulated.

Selection procedure: 

• First exam will be taken then called for interview. Shortlisted candidates from the objective, descriptive test will be called for Interview.

Fees to apply: 

• Download Print Slip : Application fee Payment Challan / Pay-in Slip
• Candidates will have to pay Application Fees + Postal Charge : Nil+Rs.50(SC/ST) & Rs.350+50 (all others, include OBC). 
• Fees will be Non-Refundable 

How to Apply :

• The candidates should have a valid email id before applying online. If the candidate does not have a valid email id, he/she should create a new valid email id before applying online.
• For the purpose of locating the Bank ‟s branch address for remitting fees, applicants may log on to our Bank‟s website www.indianbank.in wherein provision is available for locating address of the branches. Applicants are advised to type nearby town/ city/ place in the space provided under “Branch Search” in the website.
• The following details must be filled up in both copies of the challan. (i) Candidate‟s name, (ii) Candidate‟s category, (iii) Name and CBS code no. of the Branch selected for payment, (iv) Date of payment and (v) Fee to be paid.
