Senior Scientific Officer, Gr.II(Lie Detector) : 01 Post

• Central Forensic Science Laboratory(CFSL), Central Bureau of Investigation, Ministry of Home Affairs. 

Qualifications : Essential : 

Educational : 

1. Master’s Degree in Criminology or Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent. 
2. Three years’ experience in Applied Psychology or Criminology / Crime Investigation. 

Desirable : 

• Doctorate Degree relevant to EQ (ii) above from a recognized University or equivalent. 

Duties : 

• Reporting officer of the division. Conducting the examination / analysis of exhibits in respective division. Deposing as an expert witness when called upon by the court of law. Research and development work in respective field. Supervision of the Scientific work of Scientific staff of the division. In the absence of SSO-I, SSO-II looks after the administrative works of the division. Any other duties assigned by the Director, CFSL.

Pay Scale & Classification : 

• Figures in bracket at the end of the pay scale indicate the approx total emoluments(per month) excluding TA and HRA at the minimum of the scale
• Rs.15600-39100+Rs.5400(Grade pay) (T.E. Rs. 30450) Group ‘A’ Gazetted for the post.

Nature of Post : 

• Posts are permanent

Age Limit as on Normal Closing Date : 

• Not exceeding 35 years for the posts
• N.B. : The age limit shown against all Sl.Nos is normal age limit. The age is relaxable for SC candidates upto 5 years & upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. AGE IS ALSO RELAXABLE FOR CENTRAL/UT GOVT SERVANTS UPTO FIVE YEARS AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS ISSUED BY GOVT OF INDIA FROM TIME TO TIME.
