Assistant Public Prosecutor : 

• 01 Post in Department of Personnel & Administrative Reform, Union Territory Administration of Daman & Diu. 

Qualifications : Essential : 

A. Educational : 

• Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent. 

B. Experience : 

• Three years’ experience at the Bar. 

Desirable : 

1. Experience as Public Prosecutor / Government Advocate. 
2. Knowledge of local language(Gujarati). 

Duties : 

• To conduct prosecutions in courts of Magistrate on behalf of U.T of Daman & Diu. 

PAY SCALE & CLASSIFICATION : 

• Figures in bracket at the end of the pay scale indicate the approx total emoluments(per month) excluding TA and HRA at the minimum of the scale
• Rs.9300-34800+Rs.4200(Grade pay) (T.E. Rs.18225)Group ‘B’ Gazetted for the post.

Nature of Post : 

• Posts are temporary.

Age Limit as on Normal Closing Date : 

• Not exceeding 30 years for the posts
• N.B. : The age limit shown against all Sl.Nos is normal age limit. The age is relaxable for SC candidates upto 5 years & upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them. AGE IS ALSO RELAXABLE FOR CENTRAL/UT GOVT SERVANTS UPTO FIVE YEARS AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS ISSUED BY GOVT OF INDIA FROM TIME TO TIME.
