IIT Kanpur invites Applications for Non Teaching Post [Last Date : 08.11.2010]

Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur an Institute of national importance, 

has been in the forefront of engineering & technology education and 

research & development. The Institute derives strength from its philosophy,

promotion of high order technological research. The Institute’s R&D Division 

is looking for suitable Indian nationals for appointment on the following 

positions for short-term R&D Projects on contractual basis. The positions 

are co-terminus with the project duration or earlier.

1. Senior Manager

• Post : 1 
• Pay Scale : PB-3: Rs.15600-39100, Pay in the pay band Rs. 18750/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- Total Present
• Emoluments – Rs. 41,398/-(approx.)
• Qualification : MBA (Finance) or CA + minimum 16 years experience in the relevant areas. Specialization in the area as specified.
• Age : below 45 years

2. Manager : 

• Post - 1
• Pay Scale :  PB-2: Rs.9300-34800, Pay in the pay band Rs. 13350/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4800/- Total Present
• Emoluments Rs. 28,638/-(approx.) 
• Qualification : Master’s in Personnel, Management (First Class) in addition minimum 7 years experience in the
• relevant areas. Specialization in the areas as specified
• Age :  below 45 years 

How to Apply

• Persons serving in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSUs, should send their applications either THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL or should furnish a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of interview. They can, however, send an advance copy along with DEMAND DRAFT in original.

• Applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs500/- for the posts of Manager and Senior Manager drawn in favour of ‘Director’, IIT Kanpur payable at SBI, IIT Kanpur. The issuing date of demand draft should be within the duration of Advertisement. Demand Draft will not be re-adjusted under any circumstances. No other mode of payment will be accepted, and such applications will be rejected and payment made shall stand forfeited
