The Food Corporation of India, one of the largest Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Foodgrain supply-chain management wishes to recruit young and skilled Category III personnel for manning posts in its depots or offices spread all over the country. Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals who fulfill the prescribed qualifications and age etc. for the posts indicated below:-
Food Corporation of India (FCI) South Zone invites applications for recruitment 2010 of Assistant Grade II (Hindi) and Hindi Typist.
1. Assistant Grade II (Hindi), there are 17 vacancies
- Pay Scale Rs. 9900-25530.
- Age limit is 28 years.
- Qualification : required is degree with Hindi as the main subject with proficiency in Eng. Applicants should have one year translation work experience from Eng to Hindi and vice versa.
2. Hindi Typist, there are 3 vacancies
- Pay Scale : Rs. 9900-22940.
- Qualification : required is Graduation with Hindi Typing Speed of 30 WPM.
- Age limit is 25 years.
- In case of departmental employees there is no age limit. Selection will be made on the basis of written test.
Selection process
- consists of a written test only. The written test will be conducted on 28.11.2010. The Admit Card for the written test can be downloaded from the website http://specialtest.in/fci from 14 days, before the date of written test. On qualifying the Written Test, short-listed candidates will be called for document verification to confirm their eligibility for the post applied for. Based on the merit obtained by them in the written test, a panel of selected candidates would be formed from amongst those found eligible after document verification.
Application fee
- Rs. 300. Fee should be submitted through DD in favor of “Food Corporation of India” payable at Chennai. No fee for SC/ST/PH candidates. Online Applications can be submitted within 30 days from the publication date of this advertisement.
